President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has urged the writers, intellectuals and journalists to write for the welfare of the nation.

President Dr Yadav, while releasing a book, ‘Katha Ra Byathako Yatra (Travel Across Ups and Downs),’ penned by social worker, Mitra Sen Dahal, at the Rastrapatibhawan, Shitalniwas Tuesday, expressed his view that it is everyone’s duty to institutionalize the achievements gained through political change so that the country would be united and prosperous.

He expressed his confidence that the book penned by Dahal would contribute to the country and people.

Chancellor of Nepal Academy, Bairagi Kainla said writer Dahal had carried out his responsibility to the nation by giving information on kidney-related disease.

Also commenting on the book were, nephrologist Rishi Kumar Kafle, literati duo Dr Tulsi Prasad Bhattarai and Bishnu Bibhu Ghimire and Dr Dinesh Chandra Pokhrel.

The writer has meticulously described the ups and downs of his life, including the kidney transplantation he underwent recently.
